The 98th Annual Harvest Festival takes over downtown Wendell on October 3, rain or shine. Vendors and food trucks run from 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, with a 10:00 AM parade, Kids Village, stage performances, a children’s entrepreneur market, and a 3:30 PM nacho-eating contest. Stick around for a 4:00 PM foam party, afternoon magic show, and a closing concert by The Embers from 6:00–9:00 PM.

September 26 — Peaktoberfest Returns for Its 10th Year
Southern Peak Brewery is bringing back Peaktoberfest for its 10th year, with a full day of beer, food, music, and Oktoberfest traditions.
The free festival takes place on Saturday, September 26, from 11 AM to 10 PM at the Southern Peak Brewery Taproom on Windy Road. The day includes exclusive beer releases, local vendors, and live music, along with food from Harry’s Hot Dogs from 11 AM to 7 PM and Bare Baked Pizza from 12 PM to 8 PM.
At 2:30 PM, things get competitive with a stein-hoisting contest, and Lederhosen and Dirndls are encouraged for anyone who wants to lean into the Oktoberfest spirit.
There’s also a reason to arrive right when the doors open: the first 100 customers at 11 AM will receive commemorative Peaktoberfest glassware.
