This October, Dix Park will gain five larger-than-life neighbors—whimsical trolls crafted from reclaimed wood by Danish artist Thomas Dambo. Their exact locations? Top secret (because trolls prefer to be found, not announced). Raleigh joins a global map of more than 150 trolls scattered across forests, fields, and parks worldwide—see the Trollmap here.
