The sixth annual Taste of China Festival returns to Downtown Cary Park on November 7 from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM. Sample authentic Chinese and Asian dishes from local restaurants and chefs, watch traditional music and dance performances, and catch a colorful lion dance. You'll also find arts, crafts, cultural vendors, and activities for the whole family. The festival is one of North Carolina's largest cultural celebrations, drawing an estimated 20,000–30,000 attendees. Admission is free and open to everyone.

November 1 — Support Local Growers at Durham's Black Farmers' Market

Fresh produce and locally made goods are at the heart of the Black Farmers' Market, a recurring community market that highlights Black farmers and entrepreneurs throughout the Triangle.

On Sunday, November 1, the market returns to Durham, giving shoppers an opportunity to purchase directly from local growers and support the businesses behind the products.

The market alternates between Durham and Raleigh, making it accessible to communities across the Triangle. Durham hosts the market on the first and third Sundays of each month, while Raleigh hosts it on the second and fourth Sundays.

Its mission is to create more opportunities for Black farmers to connect with customers while encouraging residents to shop locally and learn more about where their food comes from.

Whether you're stocking up on fresh ingredients or interested in discovering local producers, the market offers a chance to put your spending directly into the hands of Triangle-area farmers and small businesses.
