Remodeling Your Wake County Home?
The average major kitchen remodel costs about $80,000. You probably don't want to pick the contractor by Googling “remodeler near me.”
Tell us what you're planning and your budget. We'll connect you with up to three reputable Raleigh remodelers who may be a good fit.
Free. Local. No endless contractor hunt.

Tea on Tenth brings a traditional afternoon tea experience to the 10th & Terrace rooftop every Sunday from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. For $40 per person, enjoy assorted pastries, biscuits with butter and jam, tea sandwiches, and locally sourced specialty teas while taking in the city views. Cocktails are available separately, and reservations are encouraged. It's a relaxing way to catch up with friends or treat someone to a special afternoon.
Not sponsored—we just think Sundays could use more scones. (Just so you know: Sponsored content in our newsletter is always marked with “*”).

October 30 — A Haunted Halloween Night at Carolina Pines Park
Carolina Pines Park is trading its usual recreational activities for something considerably spookier this Halloween.
On Friday, October 30, from 8 PM to 10 PM, Raleigh Parks is hosting Haunted at the Pines, a Halloween experience featuring a series of ghoul-themed rooms designed to give visitors a good scare.
Each room will feature its own frightening decorations and eerie music, creating a walk-through experience for those brave enough to venture inside. Unlike some of the city's more family-friendly Halloween festivities, this event is geared toward ages 10 and older.
Admission is $5 per person, and all proceeds will benefit the Raleigh Parks Employee Assistance Fund, which supports parks employees in need.
The event takes place at Carolina Pines Park, located at 2305 Lake Wheeler Road in Raleigh. It's an inexpensive way to get one last Halloween thrill before the big night, while supporting a local cause.
