Crank up the fun—Raleigh’s Summer Beats Festival is bringing the heat (and the chill) to City Plaza on Saturday, July 12 from 11am–8pm. There’ll be a snowball fight zone (yes, in July), a Cutest Dog Contest, a vacation costume showdown, and even a limbo battle. Grab a bite at the food, dessert, and ice cream truck rodeo, then wash it all down with 10 samples of wine or beer for $30. Admission to the festival is free, but don’t forget to RSVP.
