Moore Square is getting a little more Wicked on Friday, August 21, with an outdoor screening of Wicked: For Good. Food trucks roll in from 6:00–9:00 PM, with the movie starting at 7:15 PM, so come early to grab dinner and a good patch of lawn. The all-ages event is free and presented in partnership with the North Carolina Museum of Art.

A Coffee Shop Hidden Among the Trees
Caffe Driade is the kind of place you could easily miss from Franklin Street, and its tucked-away location is a big part of the experience.
The independently owned Chapel Hill café sits beside Whitehall Antiques, surrounded by old-growth woods, gardens, patios, and fountains. It's been around for more than 30 years, serving handcrafted espresso drinks, coffee, whole-leaf tea, baked goods, wine, and beer. There's even a Driade Shake made with espresso and ice cream.
Coffee is clearly more than an afterthought here. Caffe Driade puts an emphasis on quality throughout its sourcing, roasting, and drink-making, and its staff members have competed in regional and national coffee competitions.
The wooded setting may be just as memorable as what's in the cup. Some evenings also bring live music to the candlelit front patio, giving the already unusual café another reason to linger.
