If your ideal Sunday includes funnel cake in one hand and a churro in the other, NC Sugar Rush might be your kind of event. Head to City Plaza on May 24 from noon to 6 PM for a dessert-only festival packed with 20+ vendors serving sweets of every kind imaginable. There’ll also be DJs, live performances, and plenty of reasons to wander downtown with something sugary in hand.
The event is free to attend, pet-friendly, and a solid excuse to spend the afternoon trying desserts you definitely don’t make at home.
