Swap the couch for the lawn on June 19 as Fenton Square hosts an outdoor screening of The Parent Trap from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Bring your favorite chair or blanket, claim a spot on the grass, and settle in for a feel-good evening of mistaken identities, summer camp shenanigans, and plenty of laughs. Arrive a little early to grab a to-go drink from one of Fenton’s restaurants before the movie begins at 7:00 PM.

Sundays — An Event That Asks You to Put Your Phone Away
Most events are competing for your attention. This one is asking you to hand it over at the door.
Every Sunday from 11 AM to 9 PM, The Glass Jug Downtown hosts Phone Free Fun, a weekly event built around setting screens aside and spending time with friends the old-fashioned way. Participants leave their phones with the bartender for safekeeping and then spend the rest of the visit unplugged.
There's also a small incentive built in. Each beverage purchase earns a raffle ticket, with a drawing held on the last Sunday of every month.
Whether that sounds relaxing or mildly terrifying probably depends on your relationship with your phone. Either way, it's a different approach to socializing than most places are offering these days, and that's part of what makes it interesting.
