Pack a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for an evening of live music from Relay Relay, local shopping, family-friendly activities, and delicious bites from nearby Hillsborough Street businesses. Whether you're hunting for handmade treasures, letting the kids burn off some energy, or simply enjoying a summer evening outdoors, this event checks all the boxes for a feel-good Friday.

June 20 — Beer, Barbecue, and Live Music for Dad
Father's Day events don't always need a complicated theme. Carolina Brewery is keeping things fairly straightforward with Brews & Barbecue for Dads on June 20 from 12 PM to 8 PM.
The event features a new beer release, the 1995 Classic Lager, along with a pint glass giveaway for dads and a full afternoon of live music. Lee Gildersleeve & The Bad Dogs take the stage from 12:30 PM to 3 PM, followed by Colby Jack & The Boogie Men from 5:30 PM to 8 PM.
The combination of barbecue, live music, and a new lager release feels like a pretty natural fit for a summer afternoon. And with music scheduled across much of the day, visitors can stop by for lunch, dinner, or anywhere in between.
Sometimes the simplest event descriptions are the most effective: beer, barbecue, and live music. That's pretty much the whole idea here.
