October 21 — Live Jazz with the Denty Westlake Trio at Boatman Spirits Co.

Wednesday nights at Boatman Spirits Co. now come with live jazz, thanks to a new weekly music series organized in partnership with Raleigh musician Peter Lamb.

On Wednesday, October 21, at 8 PM, the series welcomes the Denty Westlake Trio for an evening of jazz at the downtown Raleigh distillery.

The series brings together a rotating lineup of local musicians and nationally recognized performers, including Grammy-nominated artists. The roster has featured names such as Sidecar Social Club, saxophonists Rob Denty, Roland Burnot, and Liam Trawick, and guitarist and two-time Grammy nominee Keith Ganz.

With a different lineup each week, the Wednesday series gives Raleigh jazz fans an opportunity to hear a variety of musicians without waiting for a major concert or festival.

Performances begin at 8 PM every Wednesday at Boatman Spirits Co.

Raleigh Hidden Gem:

The Winchester is one of those spots you wouldn’t notice unless someone told you about it. Tucked in a North Raleigh strip mall, it’s super chill—just good beer, friendly people, and soccer always on. You can bring your own food, hang out, and it never feels crowded or loud. It’s kinda the go-to for folks who want a no-drama place to unwind.
