Mondays–Thursdays — $5 Small Plates and Sangria at The Willard
An afternoon drink with a few snacks doesn't have to turn into an expensive outing, especially at The Willard Rooftop Lounge in downtown Raleigh.
Every Monday through Thursday, from 4 PM to 6 PM, The Willard offers its Sangria + Snacks special, featuring housemade red sangria and a selection of small plates for $5 each.
The sangria is made with fresh-cut fruit and costs $8 per glass or $25 per carafe. Food options include dolmas stuffed with rice and served over hummus, toasted Marcona almonds with paprika and garlic oil, and a chef-selected meat and cheese plate with crackers.
There's also jamón and Manchego crostini, finished with a drizzle of honey.
The weekday special offers a way to sample several dishes without committing to a full dinner, whether you're meeting friends after work or stopping by for an early evening bite.

Sola Coffee Cafe is this cozy spot in North Raleigh that's been around since 2012. It's family-owned, and you can really feel that personal touch when you walk in. They serve up locally roasted Counter Culture Coffee, and their cardamom latte is something special. Don't even get me started on their mini doughnuts—they're a must-try. It's just one of those places where you can relax, chat with friends, and feel at home.
