Bring a blanket or lawn chair and head to Joyner Park on July 18 for an outdoor showing of Mufasa: The Lion King. Pre-show activities begin at 7:30 PM, with the movie starting at 8:30 PM. Food vendors may be on site, or you can pack your own snacks for the evening. Be sure to arrive early, as viewing space can fill up quickly.

July 10 — Meet Adoptable Dogs at Southern Peak Brewery
Brewery events come in all shapes and sizes. This one just happens to include a few wagging tails.
On July 10 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, Southern Peak Brewery will host Pints + Puppies in partnership with Peak Lab Rescue. The adoption event gives visitors the chance to meet dogs looking for homes while spending the evening at the brewery. Anyone thinking about adopting can get pre-approved through Peak Lab Rescue ahead of the event.
Even if you're still in the "just looking" stage, adoption events can be a nice opportunity to meet rescue dogs, ask questions, and learn more about the adoption process before making a decision.
