Moore Square hosts the Carolina Culture Food Fest on September 27 from 12:00–6:00 PM. Food trucks and local favorites lead the lineup, alongside a vendor marketplace, food competition, games, giveaways, community organizations, and a Kids Zone. It’s a chance to discover local businesses and Carolina flavors while spending an afternoon downtown with family or friends. The festival is free and family-friendly.

September 24 — Free Jazz in Moore Square
A Thursday evening in Moore Square comes with a live soundtrack this week.
On Thursday, September 24, from 6 PM to 8 PM, Turnabout Players will perform as part of Jazz in the Square, Downtown Raleigh Alliance’s free outdoor concert series featuring local jazz musicians in the heart of Downtown Raleigh.
The setup makes it easy to turn the concert into a full evening out. Food trucks will be on-site, while wine and beer will be available for purchase. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs, find a spot in the park, and settle in for two hours of live music as the sun goes down.
Jazz in the Square continues on select Thursdays through October, but this week belongs to Turnabout Players. Admission is free, so all you really need to bring is something comfortable to sit on.
