October 22 — A Halloween Happy Hour for Dogs and Their Humans

Halloween costumes aren't just for people, and Oak City Brewing Company is giving Raleigh's four-legged residents a chance to join the festivities.

On Thursday, October 22, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, the brewery is hosting Spooky Pints & Paws Yappy Hour, a Halloween-themed gathering for dogs and their humans.

Guests are encouraged to bring their pups dressed in Halloween costumes, whether that's something spooky, silly, or just plain adorable. Costumes aren't required, though, so dogs who prefer their everyday look are welcome, too.

There will be beer available for the humans, plenty of canine company, and an opportunity to enjoy a little Halloween fun alongside fellow dog owners.

All dogs must remain on leashes throughout the event. Whether your pup arrives dressed as a pumpkin or simply comes along for the outing, this is one Halloween gathering where bringing your dog is part of the plan.

Raleigh Hidden Gem:

The Country Doctor Museum is one of those hidden gems you almost don’t believe exists until you see it. It’s tucked away in this unassuming spot, but when you walk inside, it’s like stepping back in time. They’ve got these old medicine bottles, weird-looking doctor tools, and even a hand-cranked wheelchair that makes you grateful for modern medicine. It’s a little bit eerie, a lot fascinating, and one of those places that makes you appreciate how far we’ve come.
