Tuesdays — Ice Cream Tacos for Less
Taco Tuesday comes in a slightly different form at Fat Cat Homemade Ice Cream in Fuquay-Varina. Every Tuesday, the shop offers its ice cream tacos for $6.75 instead of the regular $7.75.
The dessert starts with a waffle taco shell and comes topped with a scoop of your choice of ice cream, two toppings, whipped cream, and sprinkles. Dairy-free ice cream, whipped cream, and toppings are available as well.
For anyone who enjoys customizing their dessert, there are plenty of ways to mix and match flavors and toppings. And if you've never tried an ice cream taco before, this feels like a fairly low-risk introduction.
If you're looking to switch up the usual cone or cup, Tuesdays might be the time to do it.

Benny Capitale’s is that downtown Raleigh spot you stumble into once and never forget—mostly because the slice you ordered is roughly the size of your torso. It’s not fancy, it’s not fussy, but when it’s late and you need something solid, Benny’s delivers. The crust holds up, the cheese is generous, and the vibe is pure no-frills comfort.
