October 1 — Bilingual Storytime Inside the Nasher Museum
Storytime gets a change of scenery at the Nasher Museum of Art, where books and artwork come together for a morning designed for little ones.
On Thursday, October 1, from 10:30 AM to 11 AM, Durham County Library will host its monthly Bilingual Story Time inside the museum. Children will settle into the galleries for a story read in both Spanish and English, followed by a short conversation about one of the artworks and a related artmaking activity.
The free program is designed for children ages 1 to 5 and their adult caregivers, so no previous Spanish experience—or museum experience—is necessary.
Bilingual Story Time returns on the first Thursday of every month, making it an easy recurring outing for families interested in introducing young children to another language, art, and storytelling all in the same visit.
