The Lake Pine Loop at Apex Community Park is a 4-mile walk, covering the 2-mile paved loop twice. The walk starts at the entrance off Laura Duncan Rd, in front of the tennis courts. The loop circles the lake and is suitable for a leisurely walk.

🌲 Forest for the Trees: A Guided Hike of Umstead SP’s Trees @ Umstead Park Harrison Ave Parking Lot | March 22 | 10AM
A 2-mile hike along the Loblolly Trail, where participants will explore and identify a variety of trees, both common and rare, while learning tree identification techniques. The hike is weather permitting, and attendees are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes and bring water and snacks.
