Steven Feinberg’s esoteric DJ style reflects more than two decades spent performing and researching music. His Masters’ Degree in Liberal Studies and Ethnomusicology at Duke University allowed him to delve deep into the study of jazz, hip hop, electronic music, and various Latin genres. This exposure to so many diverse music genres contribute to his unique DJ style, which can include a wide variety of house and other electronic genres, as well as funk, Latin, jazz, hip hop, nu disco, reggae, downtempo, Arabic, and afrobeat. As a DJ, he has been behind the decks in London, Ibiza, Playa Del Carmen, and Miami. Locally, he has held residencies at events and venues including Solas, Babylon, Revolution (Lincoln Theatre), and Red Room. He currently serves as Resident DJ at Mosaic Lounge, hosting a number of parties including We All Love House, Russian Night, Discoteque, and Sultry, and is a Co-Planner and Resident DJ at the Mosaic Spring and Fall Music Festivals, the “Mosaic in Miami” events held during the Miami Winter Music Conference, and the Mi Casa Music Holiday in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Bursting on the scene in 2007 Psylo has become one of Raleigh’s most up and coming DJs, performing for crowds all over NC from Asheville to Wilmington. Psylo has always been determined to spread the love of EDM to anyone that would listen, and is determined to bring EDM to the mainstream. Psylo has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with a few major acts including DIESELBOY, DATSIK, BORGORE. DJ BLEND, ADVENTURE CLUB, CRIZZLY, ZEDS DEAD, OMARLYNX, HULK, TERRIVITA and XI. Psylo is currently working on an EP set for release in August 2012 on True Score Theory Records. Psylo’s main influences in electronic and classical music sculpted Psylo into the musician he is today. You can catch him every Wednesday at his weekly residency at the re-opened and re-designed Club Still Life, a club made entirely out of LEDs with the best laser show in NC.
Having been part of the Southeast US EDM scene for close to 15 years, there’s not a lot DJ FM hasn’t seen or done. He’s produced 80+ songs and instrumentals, had his original tracks used on MTVs Real World, Road Rules, The Hills and Making The Band, and performed his original electronic music with the aid of a live band. His most recent EP, “Premonition” is out now on Beatport via Metronix Recordings in D.C. As a DJ, FM now helms Revolution Raleigh, a monthly cirque-themed electronic dance party which regularly draws capacity crowds!
