1) Fearrington House Restaurant – Located inside a gorgeous antique farmhouse this place would scream romance, except it is far too classy to actually scream. The menu changes with the season’s and features some of the finest local ingredients you can find in Raleigh. The Sommelier does not play second fiddle to the Chef either, with one of the best wine lists in town. This place is absolutely beautiful in terms of food, presentation and service.
2) Nana’s Restaurant – Although the cuisine is American with Italian and French influences, what stands out is that Nana’s has that local vibe that keeps brining people back time and time again. The food is fresh, local and delicious - prepare to be impressed! Local knowledge - One thing to remember when you go: save room for dessert! Nana’s house-made ice creams and sorbets are completely out of this world.
3) Second Empire Restaurant & Tavern - In Raleigh, nothing exceeds the quality of the food, the presentation, the service and the ambiance of the Second Empire. Located in downtown Raleigh’s historic Victorian Dodd-Hinsdale House (circa 1879), we find the upstairs room to be especially intimate. It might be a little pricey, but you cannot put a price on true romance.
